Create Caption Profile

If Cielo24 is your caption provider:

1. Login to your account at cielo24.com
2. Click "Account Settings" in the upper-right of the screen
3. Click on the "Credentials" tab
4. The API Key should be at the bottom of the page. It's a long string of letters and numbers
5. You can generate a key if one does not already exist for your accounts
6. Use this API Key, along with your Cielo24 username, to create a caption profile following the instructions below.

If 3Play Media is your caption provider:

1. Login to your account at 3playmedia.com
2. Click "Settings" in the upper-right of the screen (small gear icon)
3. Click on "API Management" in the left-hand navigation menu
4. Create an API Collection if one does not already exist
5. Click "Details" to the right of your collection — it will expose the API Key and API Secret
6. Use this API Key and API Secret to create a caption profile following the instructions below.

If Rev is your caption provider:

1. Login to your User account at Rev.com
2. Click "Settings" in the left-hand navigation menu
3. Under "Account Settings", you'll see "API Key"
4. Click "Show" to reveal the API Key. This is the User API Key.
5. Use the User API Key to create a caption profile following the instructions below.

If CaptionSync is your caption provider:

1. Login to your account at CaptionSync.
2. Click "Settings" from the top navigation menu.
3. Click on the "Account Features" link in the left navigation.

4. Select "Enable my Account for Warpwire" and request the feature.
5. Once you have Warpwire as a feature on your account, click "Warpwire" in the left navigation.
6. Select and copy the "Shared Secret" and make sure the "Enabled" box is checked. It's a long string of letters and numbers.
7. You can generate a key if one does not already exist for your accounts.
8. Use this Shared Secret, along with your CaptionSync username, to create a caption profile following the instructions below.

To navigate to the Warpwire Admin Tool, open the Account Menu > Admin Tool pane, and click "Closed Captions."

Click "Manage Profiles" in the upper-right of the screen. Then, click "Add Profile" to create a profile.

When you click "Add Profile," you'll be able to give your new profile a name, and optionally designate it as the default profile for requests.

You'll then select which caption provider you wish to use, and input the corresponding key and secret for that provider.

Select the quality of caption from the provider's options (from mechanical captioning to professional quality).

And the desired turnaround time.

To allow specific Users and/or Groups permission to override the manual Institutional Admin caption request process, simply click on the "Permissions" link to add the desired permissions.

Click either the "Add User" or "Add Group" button to add the user or group permission to this closed caption profile.

A user permission has been successfully added. When this user requests a closed caption for this profile, the submission will be automatically approved.
