Warpwire Release 2023.11

This month’s release includes new enhancements, an accessibility update and a bug fix. 

Included in this release:

iTunes Metadata Profile/Library Episode Note 

We have increased the character limit when adding an Episode Note into the iTunes Podcast Metadata Profile. The character limit is now 4,000 characters. 

Asset Embed Link Update

We have added a new “Link Grants Access via LTI” mode when generating a shared or embedded URL. When this option is enabled, the link can be used from a Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) context to grant any LTI-authenticated user access to the media asset. This will primarily be used for embedding Warpwire media in Drupal.

Accessibility

We have improved accessibility by adding Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) labels to the icons in the Media Library view which can be read by screen readers.

Bug Fix 

We have fixed a bug that was causing a large Warpwire logo image to display in the background of the Warpwire video recorder.
